As I spread myself thinner and thinner and take on more and more, I’m definitely starting to appreciate the beauty of outsourcing.
When I first added this to my list, it was because I just thought of it as a luxury to have someone to do shopping for you. That was all.
Now I know to evaluate everything carefully – I know what my time is worth, and I know what I enjoy. If I don’t enjoy it and it’s cheaper to hire someone than my hourly rate for my time, it only makes sense to hire someone else to do. That frees up my time to focus on something that moves along my goals without distraction or guilt, and everything gets done.
Though, I do usually enjoy shopping. Maybe I won’t need a personal shopper after all.
