368. See Stonehenge

My Story

Updated August 3, 2009

I guess that because of vandalism, Stonehenge is no longer open for visitors to walk among the stones, which is sad. It’s sad that a few baddies have managed to ruin it for everyone.

There are a lot of theories about stonehenge – why it was built, what it was used for, who built it. And maybe we’ll never really know what drove some ancient civilization to build such a structure. But I can only imagine what it feels like to stand there and contemplate the towering stones and how they were places in such precise positions.

Personally, I think Stonehenge is a calendar. Although I do wonder at the amount of effort that went into building such a mundane item as a calendar.
