Right about the time I decided I’d be happiest being a spinster for the rest of my life, and decided I didn’t ever want to get remarried again, I met him. We dated casually for awhile because neither one of us was looking for a serious relationship, but after two years, we had to admit that there was more going on than casual dating. We’d fallen in love.

Now we’re engaged and planning a family.
