On a trip across the country, I was driving through Colorado when a thunderstorm hit. Driving through the mountains in all the commotion made me nervous, so I pulled off the interstate at the first available exit, found a hotel and spent the night.

I awoke the next morning only to discover that I had stopped off in the town of Argo, Colorado. While I was driving around trying to find some breakfast before I got back on the road, I found a gold mine – it had been turned into a museum and was open to the public. I went exploring and at the end of tour, we learned how to pan for gold, and set about trying to find our fortunes.
