To Do
226. Study the ways different cultures pay their respects to the deceased
My Story
Updated October 11, 2010
This was added to the list after taking a few classes in Anthropology in college. I was fascinated by it – by the differences and at the same time the similarities of human beings across different cultures.
After learning a few tidbits about funeral traditions in different cultures, I wanted to know more.
I plan to join this up with #255 and #1 and write a trilogy of non-fiction books about birth, death, and marriage in different cultures: Arriving, Departing, and Connecting.
