To Do
208. Run for office
My Story
Completed April 1987 and May 1997
I didn’t really specify “public office” when I wrote this on the list, so I’m counting the two times I ran for student goverment.
In junior high school, I campaigned for a seat in the student goverment. I lost, because, of course, student goverment elections are nothing more than popularity contests that nerdy smart girls don’t win.
Later, in my senior year of college I ran for a seat in the Senate. I won, and as the Senator with the most votes, was asked to serve as the Vice President of the senior class. I was also asked a couple months into the school year to additionally serve as Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
