To Do
169. Keep in touch with friends
My Story
Updated January 2, 2011
Because this is an on-going, life-long goal, it will never be checked off.
It wasn’t so long ago that keeping in touch with friends meant sending letters and cards and making the occasional expensive long-distance phone call. But now we have email, FaceBook, and Twitter and long-distance is either really cheap or free.
I used to spend hours carefully handcrafting letters on stationary I made myself – playing with crayons and markers. I used to write gigantic letters on big rolls of paper and send them in mailing tubes. I kind of miss that. All I get in my mail now is bills, magazines, and notices to renew my insurance.
