151. Meet and really speak to three genuine eccentrics

My Story

Updated April 4, 2010

I guess, first, I’d have to define what I consider to be eccentrics because we all have our own little quirks that make us different from everyone else. I’ve met plenty of people who were extremely eccentric, but haven’t really spoken to them.

Honestly, I feel a little intimidated speaking to people who are eccentric – most of the time I just feel like I want to get away. I feel awkward and shy and I don’t want to listen to what they have to say.

Squirrel, on the other hand, is really good at talking to all different sorts of people. She just has a way of asking questions and drawing people out so that you can get their whole story and understand where they’re coming from. Maybe I’ll figure out how to do that some day.
