I can’t help but think that in this age of Facebook status updates and emails, that real mail is more important than ever. There’s something extra special about holding something real in your hands – the extra effort someone spent to purchase the card and buy the stamp and figure out your address and mail something to you.

I’ve even been trying to go above and beyond sending just cards and have been trying to send small gifts. I know that nearly all the mail I receive is either bills or junk, so receiving something actually worth opening is something really special.
