It’s much harder to learn to type the alphabet backwards quickly than to say it.
So, let’s say I take a weekend and practice saying the alphabet backwards until I have it down cold. What use do I have for that skill? Six months later, I haven’t practiced, I have to learn it again. If I want to check this off my list, do I need to be able to do it anytime, on demand? Or is it enough to learn it once, and then even if I forget it, I can say, “Well, I used to be able to do it.”
I don’t know. Do I just learn it once and then do it once a week to keep it up?
