I was as excited as anyone when Griffith Observatory reopened. Almost exactly two months after it re-opened, I booked tickets to head up the hill and check it out. They were so worried about being overwhelmed with traffic, that they didn’t allow anyone to drive up for the first few months. Instead you had to book a shuttle from one of a few locations around the city and ride up on a bus.

It was a fantastic way to spend a Saturday, and the amazing show in the planetarium was definitely one of the highlights.
