To Do
88. Press some flowers
My Story
Updated July 4, 2009
Have you ever taken a book out of the public library, only to find somewhere between the pages, a beautifully pressed flower, waiting for you to find it?
I have. I’d love to have an entire collection of pressed flowers, just randomly stuck into books in my own library.
Sure, you can buy a special flower press just for the job – a few flat pieces of wood with screws and butterfly nuts to tighten. But it seems like overkill. All you need is a good heavy book and a bit of wax paper.
