I’m sure it’s crazy, crowded, and loud, but when I visit Brazil, I’ll do my best to be sure that my trip overlaps with Carnival.

In case you don’t know, Carnival is the Brazilian equivalent to New Orleans’ Mardi Gras – the last big indulgence celebrated before Lent. I wonder if , much like Mardi Gras, it’s mostly celebrated by people who don’t actually observe Lent.
