Funny thing about favorite colors and lucky numbers: It’s not so much that you choose them. They sort of choose you.
My favorite color is purple. A million different shades of it – from a sumptuous deep, royal purple to a light, springtime lilac color. I associate purple with the nighttime sky, the ocean, royalty, and richness. It was my favorite when I was a little girl, and I still love it now.
My lucky number is 7. Everyone’s favorite, I know. There are two sevens in my birthdate. And there was some sort of magic going on with my 7th birthday. I can’t really explain it. I always play 7 at a roulette table.
